Hi, I am Julie Metzger, your Certified Holistic Life Coach.  You might be curious why I call myself the Mosaic Warrior.  Through abandonment, abuse, financial loss, job loss, and most devastatingly, the loss of the love of my life, and the father of my children, I felt broken into many pieces.  I was weak, hopeless, tired, and lost.  I could not see a future without pain and suffering.  A future without tears and abandonment.  I believed I was not worthy of love and happiness.  I was WRONG.

In 2018 after losing my husband John I wrote a poem called Mosaic Warrior.  I felt broken but would quickly learn I was a warrior.  Beautifully molded by God.  My spiritual conviction runs deep – I have a commitment to do what is good and right for oneself and others, even when there is a significant cost.  I have a  resolute heart of a warrior. When I am challenged, I rise, transcending all battles, knowing that my most profound strength lies not in my physical world but the inner depths of my spirit.  I know I can conquer anything.  I am a Mosaic Warrior!!

I am bits of broken pieces
Shattered from the start
Born into abandonment
With a beating of my heart.

Every jagged piece of me
fits together in your hand
Molding me into human form
Starting with the sand.

Building my foundation
With cracks among the seams
Broken bits and pieces
Are what make up my dreams.

Fighting like a WARRIOR
From birth until the end
This is what makes me MOSAIC
And why you will call me friend.
